I loved this place so much, and I always will love it to this day. I would go there every year on my birthday, and I love their fried shrimp and mozzarella sticks. I love the view of Lake Ontario from where I sit to eat my food. Also, congratulations to the employees for renovating the interior of the building.
I have never been to Rudy's, what I ordered was very good. The only reason I went there was to watch the fireworks at the harborfest. I will be going back, the atmosphere was nice and inviting. I loved being able to sit outside while I ate to watch the waves rolling in.
Food was great but everything but the fish has gotten smaller as supply has gotten more expensive at every restaurant. Service is what you would expect at a fish spot, order and move out of the way, NEXT! Atmosphere is always nice by the water. The tables are relatively clean. Beware of seasonal smells you won't be able to avoid anywhere sitting outside due to there being a lake and wildlife the lives of the food the humans bring or accidentally drop. The building has been renovated to be bigger and better handle the overwhelming foot traffic. They are still in the process of decorating so it's a bit drab.
2 years since we ventured north and this is one place we always visit. Food is always so good (haddock sandwich, fried clam strips, pink plate with fried shrimp and fries). Fun to watch and listen to the behind the counter action, such a great staff and great view if eating outside. Lots of parking but can really draw a crowd at times. Some really awesome sunsets on the shores of Lake Ontario in Oswego NY.
I have been going to Rudy’s for 34 years and it was very nostalgic to see my children enjoy as much as I didwe had a great time. Food is great atmosphere was a vibe for sure

Nice little restaurant. Walk in the menu is all up on the board up top. Seafood was great. My girlfriend went there back in the day when she went to college and we went back and it was super nice.
The fish sandwich was amazing. Was able to dine on a picnic by the lake.
